Hospital Cancer Program Accredited

The Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) has granted a Three-Year Accreditation with Commendation to the Cancer Program at Fawcett Memorial Hospital. Fawcett is the only hospital in Charlotte County to bear this distinction.

ER Wait Times Now Available on Tamiami Trail

Fawcett Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Room (ER) wait times have gone live on Tamiami Trail (US 41). A new billboard, located on southbound Tamiami Trail, just north of Toledo Blade in Port Charlotte, now features the hospital’s wait times to see a physician 24 hours a day.
