Richard Scarberry was a patient of Dr. John McKinney in 2015 when he had open-heart surgery. He credits Fawcett Hospital for his life-saving procedure and for giving him a new outlook on life.

I had never been to a hospital before until my open-heart surgery at Fawcett Hospital. The staff at Fawcett Hospital made me feel calm and confident. The nursing staff was caring and compassionate and made me feel comfortable in a stressful situation. I have a new lease on life now and I'm a different person. Fawcett Hospital is a hospital with a heart.
