The Center for GI & Digestive Health at Fawcett Memorial Hospital is a convenient access point to a full range of digestive health care services. The Center offers an integrated multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating both benign and malignant gastrointestinal disorders and diseases.
Diseases & Conditions
For the body to feel healthy, the digestive tract must function optimally. Everyone has digestive problems from time to time - an upset stomach, vomiting, gas, heartburn, bloating, irritable bowel or constipation. GI problems may be uncomfortable or embarrassing, but they are often not serious and rarely do they last long. GI problems are often caused by food intolerances, contaminated foods, viral illnesses, menstruation or pregnancy, or side effects from medications or supplements. However, common symptoms may sometimes be a sign of a more serious digestive problem. If you've been taking over the counter medicines with no luck, we can help.
Our specialists provide state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic options for a full range of gastrointestinal disorders, from simple to complex. Services provided by the Center for GI & Digestive Health at Fawcett include, but are not limited to:
